But in all seriousness, we do more than take pretty pictures. We help you craft an unforgettable experience you’ll get to relive again and again–we make good on that promise by creating images that show how the day felt, not just what it looked like.

Let me guess? You’ve heard horror stories or been a part of wedding days that still make you cringe. You don’t want the day to feel like a styled shoot with a frantic, disorganized photographer, much less a day where YOU are the team captain. The last thing you want is to be in charge of what’s happening next, where, and with who.

Enter Honey! For us, our number one priority is experience. Yes, even over photos, because when you’re completely immersed into your day, your photos naturally will scream YOU in that unique, beautiful way that can’t be replicated. We want you to have your main character moment at your wedding, living out the day EXACTLY as you have always dreamed. We show up knowing what’s happening, who needs to be where and when, and who’s in charge of what. So sit back, relax, and celebrate your faces off!

What to Expect

  • You open our website and within 5 minutes, you know you want this Honey energy in your life. We get it. It’s contagious, even through a screen. You sprint over to our contact page, fill out your details in our inquiry form, and within 48 hours, we’ll reach back out with more detailed info as well as a link to schedule a time to video chat.

  • We end our chat, and you immediately know we’re the ones for you. Based on our conversation, we’ll create a custom proposal full of everything that’ll make your wedding dreams come true.

    Your wedding is officially booked through an electronically signed contract and a $1500 initial payment, all accessed in your proposal. Congrats and welcome to the fam!

  • Immediately upon booking, we’ll send you our Basics Questionnaire to gather the basics of your day – contact info, wedding addresses, etc.

    A few months out from your wedding date, we’ll send our Details Questionnaire where you can list all your other amazing vendors, begin to create your family portrait list, and to provide any important details about the day. We use the latter info to create your photo timeline.

  • It’s the big day! We’ve checked in with you a few days so we’re all on the same page about what happens upon arrival. Because we’ve planned such a badass itinerary, the day is a breeze! We’re there to put out fires and step in when necessary to make magic happen throughout the day.

    At the end of the night, we applaud your hardcore dance moves before grabbing a cupcake on our way out.

  • A few days after the wedding, we’ll send you a handful of sneak peeks because we know you’re just as stoked about seeing these beauties as we are. The full gallery will be sent to you via a digital link within 4-6 weeks of the wedding date, ready for you to download, print, post, share, and enjoy forever!

  • Our custom collections are crafted to give you the best photography experience on your big day. From getting ready to those crazy antics on the dance floor, we’ll work alongside your coordinator to tailor a stress-free timeline that allows us to expertly capture all those spontaneous, heart-filled moments you experience in between the expected events of the day.

  • These sessions are a great way for you to see how “unscary” taking photos can be. We promise we won’t make you do the dreaded “prom pose” for 2 hours. Our shoots are all about candid moments and authentic emotions. You just enjoy your time together, and we’ll take care of the rest.

    All sessions include an online gallery of edited, high-resolution images with download rights & print release.

    The Signature Session $1500

    Treat yo’self and go big. Sessions include hair and makeup, a personal stylist, and up to 1.5 hours of coverage at up to 2 locations.

    The Save the Date Session $550

    Perfect for those leveling up those wedding announcements. Sessions include 20 minutes of coverage at one of our chosen locations in San Diego County.

  • Interested in a couple’s session? Or want to celebrate YOU in all your badass glory? We love a good “just because”, self-love, or anniversary session to celebrate a special time in your life.

    Portrait Sessions $700

    Sessions include 45 minutes of coverage at one location in San Diego County of your choosing, and an online gallery of edited, high-resolution images with download rights & print release.

Commonly Asked Questions from Our Couples

Do you travel?

100% yes! We’ve photographed weddings all over the world. The coverage price is the same, but shoot us an email and we’d love to discuss additional travel fees to get us to your dream destination.

Can I have the raw/unedited or undelivered photos?

Short answer: no. We spend countless hours ensuring that we’ve chosen the best images that tell your story, never leaving out important planned portraits or beautifully candid moments. We also spend many hours making sure that the color and style of your images reflects the caliber of the portfolio you viewed when booking us. We only give you the final product. The final story. The whole 4-course meal to experience together.

How many photos will we receive?

You’ll receive 75-100 images per hour of shooting. The final amount varies depending on your day’s events (ie. dad first look, extended fam portraits, the amount of decor, etc). We want to get it allllll so if there’s more to capture, your gallery will naturally be on the larger side.

How do you deliver our images?

Within 4-6 weeks, you’ll receive a link to an online gallery, where you have unlimited download rights to all of your high-res, fully edited, ready-to-print photos. You can also share the gallery link with your loved ones, where they can also find photos they love to download and print. All other galleries are delivered in 2 weeks in the same online gallery format.

Can I order prints, canvases, and albums through you?

We offer professional printing services through your online gallery. Additionally, we offer custom, luxury album designs that can begin as soon as a week after gallery delivery. You will also receive a print release with the delivery of your gallery so that you can print your images on your own if you’d want.

Can we adjust the package we booked before the wedding?

Hours booked can’t be “unbooked”, but your booked photographers don’t take on any other jobs on your wedding day, so you can always add hours onto your coverage up to 3 days out from your wedding date. Additionally, you can add any custom albums at any time… just after booking, the day before the wedding, and anytime after the wedding. Even years down the road.
